The FTD token is the governance token of 42DAO & The Balance Protocol. As a holder of FTD, users have the ability to participate in the governance of the protocol and shape its future direction.
FTD holders can participate in votes on important decisions such as changes to the protocol's parameters, upgrades to the system, and the addition of new collateral types. This gives users a direct say in the development of the protocol and ensures that the 42DAO ecosystem remains responsive to the needs of its community.
